For many families, the cost of wilderness therapy is an important consideration when determining the best treatment program for their child. Tuition at wilderness therapy programs can vary based on the services provided to students and families. Tuition at blueFire PulsaR reflects the level of care and expertise that our program offers.

Adventure activities are the centerpiece of our program which help young adults explore personal growth through a variety of new experiences. Often, trying new outdoor activities can be overwhelming and expensive for young adults who don’t have the proper gear or adequate instruction. This is why we offer an all-inclusive price for adventure activities led by milieu therapists and adventure experts offered on a rotating basis. This gives young adults the opportunity to participate in a range of activities to explore their skills and passions rather than committing to investing in a single activity they may or may not enjoy.

Adventure therapy is a unique type of therapy that offers priceless life lessons on coping with anxiety, practicing problem-solving, and working with others as a team.
Some of the adventure activities we offer include:
- Rock climbing
- Backpacking
- Mountain biking
- Canoeing
- White water rafting
- Cross country skiing
- Snowshoeing
- Hiking
We understand that the cost of wilderness therapy programs can be a barrier for families seeking professional help. Our admissions team works to coordinate payment with families to ensure that they receive quality care by communicating with insurance companies about coverage. In following up with families who have completed blueFire Pulsar’s program, they have reported that the cost of future mental health services are significantly reduced thanks to the progress they have made at our program.
When young adults reach out for help with their parents’ support, they are less likely to need future hospitalization and treatment out of pocket. For many young adults, the cycle of outpatient therapy and short-term treatment is interrupted by intensive therapeutic programs, like wilderness therapy. In the long run, the tuition at blueFire PulsaR is more cost-effective than continuing to struggle with substance use and low motivation, leading to dropping out of college.
