We ask all clients and their parents or guardians to complete an evidence-based and internationally used questionnaire called the Outcome Questionnaire (OQ 45.2). This questionnaire measures a client’s level of functioning in:

  • Intrapersonal Distress
  • Somatic Distress
  • Interpersonal Relationships
  • Social Problems
  • Behavioral Dysfunction
  • Related Critical Items

This data is collected from both parents and clients:

    • Upon Admission
    • Upon Graduation

Decreasing scores indicate improved mental wellness.

Emotional and behavioral wellness is marked by the dashed line indicating Clinical Cutoff.

In accordance with the OQ's Reliable Change Index (RCI):

Scores that decrease by 14 points indicate lasting, positive change

    Upon Graduation...

    Clients report a

    36pt

    decrease in dysfunction
than what was measured at admission.

PulsaR's OQ Outcomes indicate 2.5x the change needed to show lasting clinical progress.

My son was in a terrible place, and we were desperate to help, but it seemed like we were helpless to make a difference. We were so relieved to find the adult Pulsar program at Bluefire. It was worth every penny to see our son get his feet back under him. It was just the first step in a long process, but we couldn’t have made it to where we are now without Bluefire and Jake Tucker.

Fantastic, life changing experience for our daughter who was in the Pulsar group. The level of care from Jake and the rest of the staff truly amazing and set her on the path to recovery. Could not have done it without the help of this program.

Our son went to Blue Fire depressed and had no self confidence. He left with leadership skills he never knew he had. It was a difficult journey but it changed him in a good way. We are thankful for his wonderful therapist and staff.
